The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani winner of the Gubernatorial election for Adamawa State.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa made the declaration on Sunday, April 16, 2023, after the completion of the supplementary election held on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
This makes Senator Binani the first ever female Governor in Nigeria.
