PDP’s Sheriff Oborevwori wins Delta Governorship election after polling 360, 234 votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sheriff Oborevwori, as the winner of Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Delta State.

Oborevwori polled 360, 234 votes to beat his closest rival of the APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who scored 240,229. The Labour Party candidate, Ken Pela, polled 48,047 votes.

Delta INEC Returning Officer, Prof Georgewill Owuneri Abraham, announced the result at the INEC headquarters in Asaba on Monday, March 20.
