According to reports, Kaduna police have asked for N100k to look into the case of a girl who was r@ped and infected with HIV.
Last year’s horrific incident involving the woman being raped was submitted to the police for investigation, but the police wanted payment before they could look into the issue.
They eventually withdrew the case as a result, but not before the woman discovered she was pregnant and HIV-positive. She also lost her home after her uncle ejected her from the property.
Additionally, a complaint letter was produced and printed, for which they had to pay N5,000 and another N10,000 before it could be authorized.
