Freight agent arrested with 1.10 kilograms of methamphetamine concealed in four walls of carton

Operatives of the National Dr¥g Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a freight agent, Agholor Emmanuel, with 1.10 kilograms of methamphetamine concealed in four walls of carton containing food items.

NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, February 12, said the suspect was arrested by operatives attached to the SAHCO export shed of the Lagos International airport

He said the suspect was arrested after he presented the cargo for export to London, United Kingdom.

“In the consignment containing food items packed in a carton, the four walls of the carton were used to conceal 1.10 kilograms of methamphetamine,” he said.
