The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has arrested bank staff for sabot@ging the efforts of the CBN into ensuring the new Naira notes are dispensed to their customers.
In a tweet, the agency revealed that in FCMB’s branch in Osogbo, Osun State, the bank’s operations manager was arrested after ATMs were loaded with unwrapped new Naira notes.
In another tweet, the branch service Head of Stanbic IBTC, Abuja, was arrested for refusing to load the ATMs even when the new Naira notes were available.
