A yet-to- be identified man was prevented from being sent to his creator after being caught attempting to d£file a 12-year-old boy in Umuimo Estate, Aba, Abia State.
It was gathered that the suspect was caught on Tuesday, January 17, 2022 at his residence. A source reports that he had lured the boy to his house to assist him in cutting grass to feed his goats and was caught pants down about to d£file the victim.
“This happened in my area. Apparently, the man is notorious for sl££ping with young boys. We learned that a day before this incident, he had lured a boy to his house to d£file him and the boy ran out screaming. So, the following day, he lured this 12-year-old boy whose mother had sent on an errand.
Luckily, he wasn’t able to p£n£trate boy as he was caught n@k£d just in the nick of time. Then, the suspect was paraded before onlookers. During interrogation, the victim also explained to irate eyewitnesses what had transpired. The mother of the boy showed up to the scene of the crime and was in shock on hearing what had happened. She said she sent her son to run errands and was worried when he didn’t return home.
Following the confession, the suspect was subsequently handed over to the police for further interrogation and possible prosecution,” the source said.
