Enugu court reportedly orders lady to pay a man N150K for refusing to show up after collecting N3K transport fare

An Enugu court has reportedly orders a lady to pay a man N150K for refusing to show up after collecting N3K transport fare.

The lady has switched off her phone and refused to visit him after collecting the N3k. This infuriated the man so he reported and sued her for deceit.

In the judgement, the magistrate held that the lady’s action was deceitful and awarded the sum of 150k against her to serve as deterrence to others with such deceitful behavior.
