The founder of DAAR Communications Limited, owners of AIT TV and Raypower radio, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, was reportedly arrested in London, U.K. on Sunday night on r@pe allegations.
People’s Gazatte reports that this was discovered by U.K. police sources on Monday, January 9.
Dokpesi was picked up at London Heathrow Airport as he touched down from a connecting flight via Frankfurt on Sunday evening. He has since been released by the police.
According to a London police source who spoke with People’s Gazatte, “On Sunday, January 8, a 71-year-old man was arrested at Heathrow Airport over suspicion of r@pe. The arrest relates to an allegation of r@pe in August.
The man has been bailed, pending further enquiries, to a date in early April. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
