The Nigerian Army has rescued a female Lieutenant, P. P. Johnson, who was abd¥cted by unknown g¥nmen in Enugu State.
It was gathered that she was abd¥cted in her hometown, Ihube, on Monday, December 26.
A military source who spoke with SaharaReporters disclosed that:“She was just conferred with the rank of Lieutenant in the Nigerian Army. She passed out on December 17 after being commissioned from the Direct Short Service Course. She was kidn@pped at her home in Ibube. She travelled home for the Yuletide celebration.”
In a trending video, the unknown g¥nmen were seen tort¥ring and thr£atening to k#ll the officer for being a member of the Nigerian Army. She was also str¥pped n@ked and her hands and legs were ti£d.
A man could be heard in the video saying, “This is a wonderful (sic) information for the whole of our people that are still in the military, that’s how all of you will be d#ing one after the other.
Here it’s happening live in Enugu, today being 26th of December 2022, it’s happening live and direct, a Lieutenant, two star in military. We will fi¥ht against our en£mies, for those of you that still remain in service, we will t@ke you one after the other.”
A military signal obtained by SaharaReporters on Thursday revealed that: “At about 1420hrs on 29 Dec 22, security forces rescued Lt PP Johnson who was abd¥cted by g¥nmen and taken to a forest bordering Enugu State and Ihube in Okigwe LGA Imo State on 26 Dec 22.
The master minder (sic) of the kid@p has also been arrested by security forces while efforts are ongoing to arrest the others. The situation is still being monitored at the moment.”
