A video showing a yet-to-be identified Vehicle Inspection Officer(VIO) a§§aulting a motorist along Owerri road, Imo State, has surfaced online.
It is reported that the incident happened recently. In the clip, the VIO can be seen h#tting the victim with a stick while ignoring pleas to stop.
The eyewitness reports that the victim had his complete vehicle documents and provided it upon request by the VIO. She noted that the driver was be@ten to the extent that he could not take it anymore and had to retaliate.
However, as at the time of this report, it’s unclear if they were able to resolve the matter or one of them was sent to Heaven or Hell’s gates.
