There was tension in a neighborhood in Ibadan, Oyo State, after a man confronted his ex-fiancée for refusing to return a phone gift after she quit their relationship.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Monday, December 5. An eyewitness reports that the man had stormed his fiancée’s house to demand she returns the N65k phone he gave her since she was no longer interested with the relationship.

“They had their introduction ceremony recently and she – the lady in hijab- informed her man that she was no longer going ahead with the relationship. This made the man to visit her to retrieve the android phone be bought for her. She refused and this led to a scuffle,” the source said.

In a video, residents can be seen trying to assuage the situation between the two warring parties. The man goes ahead to dr@g his ex-partner till she fell to the ground. The ex-fiancée’s sister – in a jersey – can be seen trying to f#ghthim for accosting her sibling. However, as at the time of this report, it’s unclear whether the man eventually got his phone or not.
