In a statement released by the image maker of the police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspects, Idowu Abel, Clement Adeniyi and Pastor Felix Ajadi were arrested on Saturday, November 19, following a report lodged by the elder brother of the victim, Oluwaseyi Adekunle.

.
Oluwaseyi noted that his brother left home since November 10 and didn’t return since then. Upon the report, police operatives discovered that Idowu Abel was the person who came to pick the victim from his house on the fateful day. Idowu was traced and arrested. During interrogation, he confessed that the deceased was
his bossom friend and he lured him to his second accomplice, Clement Adeniyi”s farm where they k#lled and b#tchered him to pieces.
.
He confessed further that it was one herbalist, Abeeb aka Boko, introduced to him by Pastor Felix that requested for human head, heart, two hands and legs. He stated further that the said herbalist who is now on the run, promised to pay him the sum of N200,000 if he was able to get the above listed human parts for him.
.
.
He explained that the herbalist paid the sum of N80,000 upfront and promised to balance him with the sum of N120,000 on receiving the items. After collecting the advance payment, Idowu went to his bossom friend‘s house and asked him to escort him to an unknown destination. Being along time friend, the victim who didn’t suspect any foul play followed him innocently, and he was lured to the farm of Clement Adeniyi where he was k#lled. They c#t off his head and removed his heart while the remaining body parts were buried in a shallow grave on the farm.
