A lady identified as Perpetual Onyekachi has been arrested for st@bbing her husband, Okoro Ndukwu Okoro, to de@th in Rivers State.
It was gathered that the incident happened a Thursday, November 10, in Okposi Omoku community in ONELGA (Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni Local Government Area) of the state.
The couple was said to be secondary school sweethearts before they got married to each other. According to an eyewitness, the couple had a misunderstanding on Thursday morning which friends tried to resolve. He revealed that the reconciliation meeting proved abortive as Perpetual and her husband resumed f#ghting which resulted into her st@bbing him on his stomach.
He noted that Okoro was rushed to a hospital for treatment but unfortunately he passed on. The wife was subsequently handed over to the police operatives at Omoku police division.
