Operatives of the National Dr¥g Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 56-year-old widow, Mrs. Ajisegiri Kehinde Sidika, with 400grams of coc@ine concealed in her footwear.
The suspect, a mother of four, was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos while allegedly attempting to traffic the illicit dr¥gs to Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, November 20.
According to him, the suspect who claims to be a businesswoman trading in adults and childrens wears on Lagos Island was intercepted on Sunday, November 13, while trying to board a Qatar Airways flight going to Saudi Arabia via Doha.
Upon a critical examination of the pair of sandals she was wearing, two parcels of coc@ine weighing 400grams were recovered from them.
