Enakerakpo Sosorobia, an executive assistant in political duties to the governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, has been accused of a$$aulting his wife, Ejovwoke.
The couple has been married for 30 years and Ejovwoke, a businesswoman based in Warri area of the state, is said to have endured series of physical and emotional ab#se from her husband.
It was gathered that the latest incident occurred on Sunday, October 30, in his home town of Kokori Inland
According to their daughter, “I’m my mom’s only child, she has been in an ab#sive marriage for a long time. On Sunday, my dad and his side chic, Joy, att@cked and be@t her up. Joy br@ke my mom’s head and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
My mom went to Kokori to buy palm oil and my dad happened to be there with his side chic. He has a farm in Kokori.
He was paying his workers when my mom got there. She told him that he should reserve some money because they will need to buy fuel. That was how my dad started shouting at her and calling her names.
My mom confronted him and asked him why he was ins#lting her in presence of his side chic. He told my mom that his side chic is better than her, and this girl is my age mate.
In the heat of the moment, the girl joined my father to ins#lt and a$$ault my mom. They sl@pped, p¥nched her and br@ke her head. She was bl€€ding profusely before she was rushed to the hospital.
As if that was not enough, this morning my dad went to Warri, where he lives with my mom, to throw her out. He said he is no longer interested in the marriage and I hear he is already making plans to marry Joy.
Also, because he knows I’m calling him out, he has called my father-in-law that he wants to return my bride price.”
