Gombe Emir d#es of heart att@ck 16 months after coronation

Funakaye Local Government Area (LGA) of Gombe state was on Sunday morning thrown into a sorry state following the death of its Emir, Alhaji Mu’azu Muhammad Kwairanga III.

Alhaji Mu’azu Muhammad Kwairanga III, the emir of Funakaye, Gombe, is de@d.

He d#ed on Sunday morning, August 28, after suff€ring an heart att@ck. He was 45-year-old.

He was installed as the Emir of Funakaye by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in May 2021 following the demise of his elder brother who also d#ed on the throne.

Abubakar Barde, a resident of Funakaye, told TheCable that: “He d#ed of a heart att@ck around 12 am on Sunday. Mu’azu Kwairanga was a father to all, he showed love to the people of Funakaye.

Indeed, we have lost a great leader. His burial will take place this afternoon by 2 pm in Bajoga, Funakaye LGA of Gombe.”
