Police operatives in Lagos State have arrested two fake soldiers, identified as Oluwatosin Gabriel and Nurudeen Agboola, 35.
It was gathered that the suspects were arrested during the enforcement of the total ban on motorcycles in some parts of the state.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the police public relations officer, in a statement on Friday, August 26, said the suspects were arrested with military uniforms, police accoutrements and live cartridges.
According to Hundeyin, Agboola is the supplier, who supplies Oluwatosin with military uniforms, live cartridges, among others.
“Items recovered from the suspects include four pairs of military camouflage uniform, nine live cartridges, military identity cards, police accouterments and ch@rms,” he said.
