A family has married off their 12-yr-old daughter against her wish to a 50-yr-old old farmer as a 3rd wife in Makurdi, Benue State.
According to details provided by a social media user who visited the state, he said the young girl brought by her family to the man with the impression that he was sending her to school, but the opposite was the case as she was married off to him. He further called for help from well meaning Nigerians to come to the little girl’s aid as the community where the man lives is trying to protect him and not holding him accountable for his actions.
