It was gathered that the unfortunate incident happened on Monday, May 30, at their residence in Ajamgbadi Okokomaiko, Ojo, Lagos.

A source said, “The incident happened yesterday morning. Neighbors who are used to him be@ting his wife overheard him committing the act yesterday but didn’t take action because it’s a regular occurrence in their compound.

The deceased is his second wife and she gave birth to three children for him while the first wife has four kids for him. Tawa has been the one taking care of all seven kids. This man be@ts her at the slightest provocation. He treats her like a sl@ve. Whenever her brothers gift her an item, he seizes it to sell and keep the money.

So, after she gave up the ghost due to the be@ting, he quickly called her family members to come carry her corpse while he ran to Agbara police station with the kids to report himself. The deceased family members were referred to Agbara police station where they were told the lies Azeez sold to the police officers. As we speak, Azeez didn’t attend Tawa’s burial as she was buried immediately according to Islamic rites. He and the kids – who witnessed the ugly incident- are nowhere to be found.”
