Nollywood actor, Akan Nani has recounted how he was hara$sed by the Police in Lagos
He said the incidence took place yesterday night, at the bridge that connect Osborne Ikoyi to third mainland bridge, where the Police mounted a check point and asked him to stop in a bolt drive he took.
As he driver was about stopping, one of the policemen corked the gun and pointed it at them, saying he will shoot them. At this point he was angry and challenged the authority of the policeman to do such.
He discovered that the policeman who drunk and looking like a criminal himself.
After they stop, the policeman said he wanted searching their vehicle, they agreed but insisted it must be done while they watch them, so that the police don’t end up planting anything incriminating into the vehicle.
Later the policeman directed them to drive to the dark end of the road to do proper search, this they refused, as report has it that many unharmed Nigerians has being killed this way.
