A housewife, Ramota Bello, has been nabbed by the police in Ogun State in connection with the br#tal m#rder of her husband, Bello Saliu.
The suspect, who was arrested on Tuesday, February 22, allegedly poured a pot of bo!led water on the victim while he was asleep.
The unfortunate incident occurred on February 12, shortly after the couple had a tiff at their residence in Fulani community in Abeokuta’s suburb. The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but d!ed the next day, February 13.
According to the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect, who initially took to her heels, was arrested after the victim’s brother reported the case at Lafenwa divisional headquarters.
