Just In: Israel Adesanya defeats Whittaker to retain UFC middleweight title .

Nigerian mixed martial artist, Israel Adesanya, on Sunday morning, February 13, defeated Robert Whittaker from Australia to retain his middleweight title at UFC 271 in Houston, Texas, USA.

Recall that Adesanya won their first fi#ht at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia in 2019 to claim the middleweight title and in their rematch which held at the Toyota Center, Adesanya again defeated Whittaker via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 49-46).

The fi#ht is Adesanya’s fourth title defence after wins against Yoel Romero, Paolo Costa and Marvin Vettori. ?: @ufc
