Manchester United youngste, Mason Greenwood, 20, has been further arrested for allegedly a#saulting, r#ping and thr#atening to k!ll his girlfriend, Harriet Robson, SkySports is reporting.
A statement by the Greater Manchester Police said, “Detectives have been granted further additional time to speak to a man in his 20s who was arrested on suspicion of r#pe and a$sault of a woman.
The suspect was detained in custody on Sunday, January 30, after we became aware of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical v!olence. He continues to be questioned after magistrates authorised an extension until Wednesday, February 2.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United, in a statement on Tuesday, reiterated their “strong condemnation of v!olence of any kind”. “As previously communicated, Mason Greenwood will not train with, or play for, the club until further notice.” This is coming after Mason was removed from versions of the FIFA 22 game following his initial arrest.
