A young man has been arrested by the police in Owerri, Imo state, after he allegedly att#cked his biological mum identified as Eziada Chika Mbachu, on Monday morning, January 24, 2022.
It was gathered that the suspect invited the victim over and allegedly st#bbed her with a knife several times, allegedly with the intention to k!ll her for r!tual purposes.
According to Vanguard, an eyewitness disclosed that the victim was rescued by neighbours after they heard her crying for help.
“The mother was shouting and calling for help with bl#od stains and wounds on her body. The neighbours heard and rushed to help her. They rescued her. When the son saw many people coming he stopped att#cking the mother.
As I am talking to you the woman has been rushed to the hospital for treatment. The police have arrested the boy and taken him to the station,” the source said.
