AFCON: Fans attempt to incinerate Sierra Leonean footballer’s house for missing a penalty .

Sierra Leone Police reportedly stopped fans from incinerating the house of striker Kei Kamara after he missed a penalty during an Africa Cup of Nations game against Equatorial Guinea in Limbe on Thursday.

Complete Sports reports that the Leone Stars were awarded a penalty in the 85th minute when Pablo Ganet – who scored the 38th-minute goal to give Equatorial Guinea a 1-0 victory—brought down Issa Kallon.

Kamara failed to score from the spot-kick, as his effort was stopped by goalkeeper Jesus Owono—and the incident angered fans back in his home country who attempted to incinerate his home.
