Three suspected h*man parts dealers have been arrested by the operatives of Amotekun corps in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The suspects — Ismail Muraina, Abdlerasheed Olanrewaju, Olalekan Akande — who connived to k*ll one Adeniyi Adebisi Samuel, 73, for r*tual purposes, were arrested following intelligence reports from the members of the public.
Parading the suspects on Tuesday, September 21, the State Deputy Commandant of Amotekun, Kazeem Akinro, explained that Ismail Muraina confessed that he ch*rmed the victim because he saw him as unst*ble.
He noted that the suspects confessed that they sold h*man heads based on the size and amount available in the hand on their customers.
According to him, the suspects specialised in selling h*man parts to ritu*lists who are in need of them, and they usually sell it between N4,000 and N100,000.
“We heard a report about some suspected ritu*lists yesterday evening. We started the investigation and we arrested the first suspect in his house who later took us to the other suspects.
The suspects confirmed that they kidnapped a man along Amuloko-Akanran road, sl*ughtered him and rem*ved his head. The head was then given to one Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju who needs it for rit*als. We apprehended Abdulrasheed but he had already b*rnt the head into ashes,” he said. [Swipe]
