AKSU students stage a silent protest after a 200 level student allegedly d*ed due to medical negligence

Nsemeke Francis Umoh, a 200 level Religious and Cultural Studies student of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Uyo, has passed on.

It was gathered that the unfortunate incident happened on Wednesday, September 15. According to a source: “The school has refused to equip the clinic which has led to the loss of lives of several students.

Francis collapsed yesterday evening and was rushed to the school’s clinic. No proper first aid was offered and she d*ed. This isn’t the first time this is happening. The management of the school should equip the clinic to avoid a reoccurrence.”

However, the students who are now in mourning have staged a silent protest round the community to air their grievances. [Swipe]
