A 400-level engineering student of Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt, identified simply as Casmir, has reportedly lost his life after he was shot at by a 300-level banking and finance student, Derek.
It was gathered that the incident happened this morning in the school premises where the deceased was to write his exams. Derek was said to have accosted the deceased and shot him. It is believed that might have being as a result of a cult clash.
“Derek was arrested immediately after he m*rdered Casmir. It is unclear what his motive was for committing the crime, but we believe it is connected to a cult issue,” a source said. [Swipe for GRAPHIC content]
