Use h*adless mannequins to advertise clothing — Sharia police advises traders in Kano .

The Islamic police force in Kano, known as Hisbah has ordered shops to only use h*adless mannequins to advertise clothing. This, it said, is because Islamic doctrines are against idolatry.

This is coming weeks after the use of mannequins was banned in the state by the Islamic police force. Speaking to newsmen, the commander of Hisbah in the state, Haruna Ibn-Sina, said; ‘Islam frowns on idolatry. With the head on, it looks like a human being.”

Ibn-Sina also wants the h*adless mannequins covered at all times because to show “the shape of the br*ast, the shape of the bottom, is contrary to the teachings of Sharia [Islamic law]”.
