The police in Ibadan, Oyo State, have arrested one Gbadamosi Olamilekan, for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Adekunle Jumoke, to death.
It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday morning, May 29, at his residence in Apapa Estate, Moniya, Ibadan.
According to the victim’s sister, the couple started dating in November 2020, after the victim’s best friend identified simply as Gbotemi hooked them up. The suspect was said to have also called Gbotemi on Saturday morning to inform her of the victim’s death.
“They weren’t fighting because my sister still uploaded a video at 10:24am that Saturday. It’s unclear what transpired between them but the guy is claiming that he’s not the one that killed her.
There’s no way anybody can enter the house because it’s an estate and you can’t enter without invitation. She was killed inside the guy’s bedroom.”
