Edo Prince abducted while returning to the U.S, killed for slumping due to tiredness during a long walk in the forest

A Georgia-based realtor and an Insurance broker identified as Prince Dennis Abuda, has been shot dead by kidnappers in Edo State after his family paid a ransom of N10 million.

The deceased had visited Edo State for Christmas and was to return to the US on Saturday, January 30, 2021, but was kidnapped alongside other people while on their way to board a flight to Lagos enroute Atlanta.

He was reportedly shot dead by the kidnappers when he couldn’t walk anymore and slumped during the forced long march to the bush. The kidnappers didn’t want to leave him behind as they were afraid that he would reveal their hideout to security agencies and so decided to shoot him.

However, other abductees who were travelling with the deceased, were released safely after a ransom to N10 million was paid by the family members.
