The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested two elderly men, Ibrahim Musa, 63, Nuhu Isah, 56, for raping a 13-year-old girl at new GRA area of the State.
According to the Spokesperson of the command, DSP Ahmed Mohammad Wakil, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday, November 25, said the suspects were arrested following a report made by the victim’s relative.
He said the incident occurred on November 15. Ibrahim who’s a security guard and Nuhu, gave the victim N1300 to keep mute after committing the crime. On receipt of the report, a team of detectives were drafted to the scene.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for medical examination. The suspects were arrested and confessed to have committed the offence.
