Abubakar Shekau, leader of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgency, has declared that he can’t be arrested by security operatives because he is doing God’s work.
According to Daily Post, Shekau made the declaration in a new video in response to the Nigerian Army’s fresh manhunt for him and his top commanders.
The Nigerian Army had released 86 names, including that of Shekau as those wanted for terrorism in Nigeria.
“Nobody can apprehend me because I’m doing God’s work. He will protect me like those doing similar work and seeking His protection. I’m very sure God will protect my commanders. We are all doing God’s work,” he said.
