5 years after trekking for Pres. Buhari’s victory, ailing man gets a car and N2million reward

Mr Dahiru Buba, who developed limb complications after trekking from Gombe to Abuja in celebration of President Buhari’s victory in 2015, has received a car and the sum of N2million from the Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya.

Governor Yahaya’s media aide, Ismaila Misilli, in a statement on Monday, November 16, said that Buba was taken to the Government House clinic for diagnosis from where he was referred to a private orthopaedic hospital where he was examined and placed on medication.


He later met with Governor Yahaya at the Gombe Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, where he was rewarded with a car and the sum of N2 million as for his solidarity with the President.
