NDLEA arrests dismissed staff with 254kg of dried weeds in Niger



The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Niger State Command, has arrested one Pam Ezekiel Adamu, 46, a dismissed staff of the agency, with 254kg of dried weeds suspected to be cannabis sativa.



According to the Acting Commander of the agency in the state, Mr Aloye Oludare, the suspect was arrested on October 9, 2020 in Mokwa LGA of the state.

Oludare said Adamu Pam with staff Number SN 5454 was dismissed last year.

“They loaded the car in Ado Ekiti in company of another suspect who escaped heading to Adamawa state,” he said.

Adding that the suspect would be charged to court after the agency completed its investigation.
