A British zoo has been forced to separate five foul-mouthed parrots who wouldn’t stop swearing at visitors after they encouraged each other to keep cursing.
The Associated Press reports that Billy, Eric, Tyson, Jade, and Elsie who all joined Lincolnshire Wildlife Centre’s colony of 200 gray parrots in August, 2020, were removed from view this week.
According to the Zoo’s Chief Executive, Steve Nichols, “We are quite used to parrots swearing, but we’ve never had five at the same time. Most parrots clam up outside, but for some reason these five relish it.”
