Soldier commits suicide after leaving a note for his wife in Yobe

One Victor Oipkor Ojeamira, a serving Lance Corporal in the Nigerian Army, has allegedly committed suicide at his duty post in Buni Gari, Yobe State, where he was fighting terrorism.

It was gathered that the soldier who left a suicide note for his wife, shot himself on the head with his riffle and bled to death.

His body has since been evacuated by his colleagues while the Nigerian Army has commenced an investigation into circumstances leading to the incident. [Swipe]
