The police in Anambra State on Saturday, Sep. 5, 2020, arrested three suspects for allegedly abducting and killing a 34-year-old native doctor, Henry Okam, in Ihiala LGA of the state.
The suspects are; Obasi Faith Ezinne, 23, Abuchi Obinna, 26 and 33 years old Ntomchukwu Anabaraonye who is the deceased’s cousin.
According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed, the suspects allegedly abducted the victim on August 30, killed him with a pomp action gun and subsequently buried him in a shallow grave.
The suspects who voluntarily confessed to the crime, took operatives to a thick forest in Ihiala where the decomposing body of the victim was exhumed and recovered to the mortuary.
A pomp action and the victim’s phone were recovered from the suspects and registered as exhibits.
