Two teachers bag 22yrs imprisonment for raping four of their pupils in Niger

Two teachers, Hassan Bilyaminu and Abdullahi Biliyaminu, who were arrested earlier this month for raping four pupils in their Islamic school in Minna, Niger State, have been sentenced to 22 years imprisonment.

They were sentenced today, August 17, by a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Minna, after they pleaded guilty to two court charges of sexual assault and act of gross indecency.

It would be recall that the convicts had on 31st of July, 2020, lured four girls whose ages ranges between 6 and 11 years-old into their home and defiled them.
