Justice Dahiru Saleh, a former Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who pronounced the annulment of the June 12 1993 presidential election, is dead.
He died on Thursday May 7, 2020, in Azare, Bauchi State, a day after suffering a stroke and rushed to the hospital.
June 12, 1993 election was adjudged as one of the most credible in the history of the country. MKO Abiola was leading Bashir Tofa by a wide margin but the exercise was cancelled ahead of the final announcement of results.
