Septuagenarian slumps, dies in Imo as athletes protest against Covid-19

There was grieve at Opobo junction, Ogbor Hill, Aba, Abia state, on Sunday as a woman in her 70s slumped and died while on her way to church.

The woman, who was wearing a face mask, fell down as she was walking and died before she could receive medical attention. The police later can to evacuate her.

Meanwhile, the police had a face off with hundreds of athletics observing their weekly Sunday morning exercise in the area against the restrictions put in place by the government.

The aggrieved sportsmen insisted that Coronavirus is a scam and should not be used as an excuse to stop them from training.
