A boy, identified as Abba Kyari Mohammed, has been arrested for assaulting and allegedly raping a 68-year-old woman on Saturday in Umulungbe, #EnuguState.
According to the State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel, the incident happened around 5:30pm when the woman and her friend went to the farm to pick cashew nuts.
The suspect allegedly initially flogged them with a stick but one of them escaped and alerted villagers who mobilized to apprehend him and almost killed him but for the intervention of the security men. ?: TheWhistler
