World’s oldest barber dies after 96yrs in active service

The world’s oldest barber, Anthony Mancinelli, has died at the of 108 in New York.

The Italian immigrant died on Thursday after working as a barber from age 12 in in 1923 until July, 2019.

Guinness World Records credited him with being the oldest working barber. He opened Anthony’s Barbershop of Newburgh in 1930 and owned it for 40 years. He later worked at other shops. 📷: AOL
