A 300 Level Philosophy student of the Kogi State University, Ali Umar Sharif, has been stabbed to death by a 100 Level student who is currently on the run.
The incident happened today at their residence at Transformer Junction, Egwume road, Anyigba. Sharif was said to be celebrating his birthday when an argument started between him and Santa.
The argument later degenerated into a fight and Sharif was said to have picked up a stick while Santa picked a bottle, broke it and stabbed him in the neck before fleeing the scene.
Sharif was subsequently rushed to Good Shepard Hospital, where he was confirmed dead. The whereabouts of Santa remains unknown.
