PDP fires its national chairman, Modu Sheriff, postpones it’s National Convention 

  
According to PremiumTimes, the Sheriff has been sacked and an interim party executive led by a former governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, has been appointed. Former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, was also appointed interim secretary of the party. 
The party’s scheduled national convention in Port Harcourt was also cancelled. An unhappy Sheriff was said to have stormed out of the venue of the meeting, where he was sacked, angrily…. wt a vow nt to watch d FA Cup final match btw Manutd n Crystal Palace, ds events….
