Afube Izuchukwu Henry, a 27-year-old automobile parts dealer and Chijioke Chukwuemeka Raphael, a 36-year-old factory worker in Dubai, were both arrested at the Lagos airport. 28 packs of Tramadol weighing 21.99kg were found inside a DJ Rack box owned by Afube.
1.8kg of cocaine was found inside Chijioke’s boxer shorts. The Tramadol was intercepted during pre-shipment inspection. The consignment was destined for Congo Brazzaville. Chijioke said that he was offered N450,000 to smuggle the drug to Nigeria from Dubai…. wch he went by force….
