Deeper Christian Life Ministry, which is about completing its church headquarters valued at over N5 billion in Gbagada, believes the flyover bridge, which is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to the Lagos State Government, will help reduce traffic gridlock.
The church is providing the funding for the project while the Lagos State Government will provide the technical support. Pastor Kayode Dada of the Deeper Life, says the contract has already been awarded to Julius Berger Construction Company.
He said the flyover would be constructed alongside a four-level motor park for worshipers in the cathedral to be able to park their vehicles. While confirming to the news, LASTMA Deputy Controller of Operation, Mr. Philip Femi Ogunwale said:
“The flyover bridge upon completion will ease traffic gridlock as residents will no longer need to access the underground but move via the flyover bridge. The traffic gridlock that they normally experience, especially when they have programmes in the cathedral will no longer be there.”…. ppl r however suggesting dt d money shld av been used to buy a befitting jet…..
