On Tuesday, while delivering a lecture at the ETF hall of Cross River State University of Technology, CRUTECH, Stephen Takim, a lecture at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, was allegedly arrested by operatives of the Department of
State Security, DSS. This came after a mountain of allegations were made against him by students.

They had accused him of forcing his project students to pay a fee of N25k into his personal account and bank teller sent to him. They also claim that anyone who fails his course must organize a quick marriage between Takim and N50k so as to have the score upgraded just like JayZ upgraded Beyoncé. Takim bagged his Bsc at CRUTECH in 2009 and in 2013, bagged his Msc at Coventry University, UK….. as things r right now, his PhD will likely b at Kirikiri Maximum Prison…..
