A court in the Maldives today refused bail to former president, Mohamed Nasheed, after he was arrested on terrorism charges and denied access to his lawyers. Police forcibly dragged him into the court, ignoring
his plea to be allowed to walk in himself, and denied him medical attention. After the hearing, Nasheed was seen taken away by boat to a nearby prison….. one would’ve thought something like ds can only happen in Nigeria n USA……
