Yesterday, the Enugu State Government announced that it has now amended its Civil Service rules to grant 6 months maternity leave to nursing mothers. Husbands whose wives might put to bed were also given a paternity leave, but it

would only be for just 3 weeks. This is to give such husbands the opportunity to support their nursing wives. .

In the past, only female workers were entitled to 3 months maternity leave. The state government also resolved that henceforth, nursing mothers were free to breastfeed their babies in offices during work hours….. so as to give everyone d ample opportunity of seeing wot they’ve been hiding….
